Winchester 1917 bolt action rifle chambered in 30-06. Has an "E" marked Eddystone 9-18 dated barrel with ordnance bomb mark and a very good somewhat dark bore, and has a replacement bolt marked with the ordnance flaming bomb. The nice parkerized finish shows a few rubs and light scratches. A sound walnut stock has a boxed "RIA over FK" (Rock Island Arsenal/Frank Krack (1920-1930) inspectors stamp. This rifle is a post WWI US Arsenal rebuild, not import marked, has serial number 646XX, C&R eligible and is in overall very good condition. Used. Receiver is marked with ordnance bomb and star in a circle on left side indicating original early Winchester manufactured receiver which due to some parts variation causing interchangeability issues, was not used for WWI overseas service .
