Swede 1938-96 Mauser bolt action rifle in 6.5x55 caliber. This is a Swedish Arsenal refurb of a 1913 mfg Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori 1896 rifle into a 1938 pattern rifle. Features a 24" barrel with very good somewhat dark bore, and threaded muzzle. Forced matching numbers on receiver and straight bolt assembly, and matching on bolt stop, rear sight, barrel bands, and buttplate. Has the Metallverken Vasteras Micrometer rear sight. Bluing is thinning, stock shows some dents, stock disc is marked 6.51" bore with #3 barrel condition. Includes cleaning rod. Serial number 3159xx, C&R eligible. Overall Good to Very Good condition.

Massachusetts - Handguns made after 1997 must be approved by MA DOJ. C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only. No assault rifles.
New Jersey - C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only, No assault rifles.
New York - C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only. No assault rifles. No assault pistols, or pistol version of rifles.
Oregon - All firearms must be sent to 01 FFL dealers only, not 03 C&R holders, including C&R firearms.
Washington - No assault weapons.
Washington DC - no firearms.
