Springfield 1903 bolt action rifle chambered in 30-06. This rifle has an "SA" Springfiled 8-30 dated barrel with a very good somewhat dark shootable bore, very good mechanical condition, 2nd variation replacement bolt, and a milled trigger guard, magazine floor plate, follower, upper and lower bands, band retaining spring, sling swivels, stacking swivel, and a finely checkered type 3 buttplate. The nice parkerized finish shows a few rubs and light scratches. Also has a very nice walnut type "C" pistol grip stock with reinforcing bolts, "S" (Springfield Arsenal manufactured) stamp in magazine cutoff relief, and a circle "P" proof at the wrist. There is a mismatched serial number stamped between the lower sling swivel and pistol grip with a "155" rack number and other property marks are stamped on the buttstock. Includes a front sight protector. This rifle has a serial number of 1376xxx, was original manufactured circa 1931-1932, is C&R eligible, and is in overall very good plus condition, used.
