Smith & Wesson M&P model 1905 1st/2nd change revolver chambered in 38 Special. This is a 5 screw revolver that features a 5" barrel with a good somewhat dark shootable bore, good mechanical condition, S&W monogram checkered hard rubber round butt grips, and matching numbers on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. The nickel metal finish shows freckles, patina, and high edge wear. Has a last barrel date of July 7, 03, 1905. 1st and 2nd change revolvers were manufactured with overlapping serial numbers in the range of 73251-146899. The exact quantity of both models has not been determined. This revolver has a serial number of 956XX, was manufactured circa 1906-1909, is C&R eligible, and is in overall good to very good condition, used.
