Smith & Wesson 455 Hand Ejector MKII revolver chambered in 45AR (Auto Rim). This revolver has a 6.5" barrel with a very good bore and mechanical condition, matching original checkered walnut center diamond grips with lanyard ring, and matching numbers on frame, barrel, extractor star and yoke with the serial number removed from face of cylinder when converted to auto rim. The older refinished polished blue metal shows service. This is a 2nd model revolver with extensive British military acceptance marks and proofs on frame, barrel and cylinder, a crossed pennant stamp on the frame forward of cylinder and marked "Not English Make". The barrel is marked 45 A R (AUTO RIM) with patent dates "MAR 27, 94, MAY 21,95,AUG 4,96,DEC 22,96, OCT 8,01,DEC 3, 01, & FEB 6,06". This revolver has the serial number 99XX, was made between 1915-1917, is C&R eligible, and is in overall very good condition. Used.
