Smith & Wesson 455 Hand Ejector MKII revolver chambered in 45ACP. This 2nd model revolver has a 6.5" barrel with a good shootable bore, good mechanical condition (needs mood clips to function), and older refinished matte black/patina metal that shows a few nicks and dings. Also has case colors on the hammer and trigger, original S&W checkered walnut center diamond grips with gold medallions, and a lanyard ring. There are extensive British Military proofs/acceptance marks on the frame, barrel, and cylinder along with a crossed penant stamp on the frame forward of the cylinder and a "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" marking. There are matching numbers on the frame, barrel, and yoke (the serial number has been removed from the face of the cylinder when converted to 45ACP). There are patent dates on the barrel of "OCT 8, 1901, DEC 17, 1901, and FEB 6, 1906". This revolver has a serial number of 242xx, was manufactured 1915-1917, is C&R eligible, and is in overall good to very good condition, used.
