Smith & Wesson 38/44 Outdoorsman revolver chambered in .38 Special. Has a 6.5" barrel, very good bore, and mechanical condition. It also has a Marbles Sheard front sight and an early pattern S&W adjustable rear sight. Has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, round barrel, extractor star, and on the yoke. The thinning polished blue patina metal finish shows freckles and scratches. Has nice vintage genuine stag grips. This is a Pre-WWII 5-screw revolver and introduced in November of 1931. Approximately 4,700 were manufactured between the years 1931 to 1941. It has serial number 418XX, made in 1933, C&R eligible, and is in overall good to very good condition. Used.
