Siamese 46 Mauser bolt action rifle chambered in 8x52R. Has a Chakri Dynasty crest on the receiver ring, a very good bore, good mechanical condition, and a sliding dust cover. The metal finish is a satin blue and has a nice sound one-piece stock with a crisp inspection stamp that shows dents and dings. The stock also has a trapped steel buttplate with a sliding cover and Arisaka style extended tangs. This rifle was originally chambered in 8X50R then rechambered in the early 1920s for the more powerful type 66 8X52R cartridge. It incorporates both the original German 1898 pattern Mauser and Japanese Arisaka design features. This rifle was manufactured in Japan by the Koishikawa-Tokyo arsenal, it is a pre-1968 import without import marks, C&R eligible, and is in overall very good condition. Used.
