I voted for the 380 but if I could have voted for the Makarov also I would have. I carry both.

Carrying any gun is better than no gun. My sub-9mm carry guns are: Kel-Tec P38T .380ACP, Polish model P-64 9x18Mak, and a Glock 42 with a Lone Wolf 9x18Mak conversion barrel.

Wish I could select more then one. 32acp, 32 s&w long, 7.62 x 25 Tok, 380, 9x18 mak, makes for nice rotation.

I've carried a Glock 26 since '99.

I absolutely prefer a .45, but I voted for .380acp and my second sub-9mm choice would be 9x18 makarov. I love my P64, a modern version would be a reasonable carry choice.

Try the new S&W M&P Shield .30 Super Carry, it matches the 9mm in fps. has lower recoil and it's great for concealed carry.

I've often carried my FDEG AP63 .32 ACP. With the right ammunition and good shot placement, .32 ACP is a capable round. Although .380 ACP is better, and 90-95% I carry a 9mm or better. But, there are times, whether it's carrying around the house or when I go out in lightweight clothing that doesn't have a belt, the smaller calibers mean that I at the very least have A firearm.

Yes. Daily 22 Magnum Black widow. Very easy to carry.

I sometimes carry a .32 ACP Beretta 81BB. I also sometimes carry a 10mm Glock 20. Caliber doesn't make that much of a difference to me. I'm comfortable with most, but .32 is the lowest I'd go.

My current carry is a traditional gov't 1911 in .45 ACP. I have carried one for many years.
From time to time, I have considered replacing it with something more modern. If I ever do, I am prepared to consider something in 9 mm.

Have carried a 9mm KAHR KP9094 for years because of Weight, carry it because my Boot Gun is a 9mm revolver Charter Arms Pitbull, does not require Moon Clips.

I often carry my little Ruger in .380. Like some have said, it's better to have something than nothing. I have begun to carry a model 10 S&W with a IWB holster and feel secure. I don't expect to get into a situation where I need more than 6 rds. to get me out of it.
