Mauser 1904/M39 bolt action rifle chambered in 8x57. This late 1930's conversion of a Portuguese 1904 Mauser-Vergueiro 6.5x58MMP rifle was originally manufactured by DWM Berlin. The receiver ring is marked with crown over Intertwined "IC" (King Carlos I) and the rail is marked "Espingarda Portuguesa 6.5 1904" over "Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken Berlin". Has 23.6" barrel, a very good bore that is somewhat dark in the grooves, very good mechanical condition, matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, bolt stop, trigger guard, magazine floor plate, and stock, and a nice blued/patina metal finish. The walnut furniture with arsenal repair on stock toe shows dents and dings from service. Includes a cleaning rod. Overall the rifle is in very good condition, C&R eligible, used.
This is a used firearm and we only have one in stock; first come first served.
