Japanese Arisaka 99 bolt action training rifle with a 30.5" barrel that has a dark unrifled bore designed to use 6.5mm blanks (not for firing standard ammunition). This rifle with no "mum" or manufacture marks has a folding rear sight, inverted "V" front sight without ears, blued/patina metal, and a nice lightly cleaned one piece wood stock with a "92" rack number on the barrel and handguard. The mismatched oval handled bolt has matching numbers on the bolt, firing pin, and knurled safety. Includes cleaning rod. Has a serial number of 19X marked on the upper tang, manufactured circa 1940's. This C&R eligible. Not suitable for firing, sold for reference/display only as a gunsmith special, As Is, no returns.
