Japanese Arisaka 38 Type unknown training rifle with no "mum" or manufacture identification marks and a receiver ring marked with three unknown Japanese characters. Has a dark unrifled bore designed to use 6.5mm blanks (not for firing standard ammunition), a modified Arisaka pattern bolt that has a machined spiral pattern on the rear of the safety, ladder type rear sight, inverted "V" front sight without ears, a blued patina metal finish, and a lightly cleaned one piece wood stock. Needs a magazine follower, following spring, and magazine floor plate. This rifle is C&R eligible and is in overall good to very good condition, used.
