Japan Type 26 revolver chambered in 9MM Jap. This early Koishikawa-Tokyo arsenal manufactured revolver was produced between the years 1893 to 1924. This is the 1st indigenous revolver adopted by the Japanese military and used through WWII, it was primarily issued to Japanese NCOs. The double-action-only system incorporates design features from Galand, Smith and Wesson top break, and the French Modele 1892 revolvers. Fewer than 60,000 were manufactured between the years 1893-1924. The 9MM Jap chambering is unique to this revolver.

This standard production revolver has a 4.75" barrel, with a very good bore, and mechanical condition with matching numbers on the frame, grip straps, barrel, hammer/trigger, trigger guard, and checkered wood grips. Has a thinning original blue finish with a nitre blue hammer and trigger, the finish shows some patina and pitting. The grips have a lanyard ring and Kanji acceptance marks on the butt. This revolver has serial number 349XX, C&R eligible, and is in overall good to very good condition. Used.

This is a used firearm and we only have one in stock; first come first served.

ATTENTION: Firearms ONLY ship to an FFL holder (or C&R if eligible). If you do not have an FFL (Federal Firearms License) then you must find one in your area to do the transfer for you, and you must enter their address as the shipping address on your order. Due to FedEx and UPS requirements, handguns ship separately from ammunition via 2 day delivery. You must be age 21 or over to purchase.
