Japan Nambu Type 94 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 8x22 Nambu. This pistol was made in the Nambu Rifle factory (Kokubunji factory of Chuo Kogyo) under the supervision of Nagoya Arsenal and has a very good somewhat dark bore and good mechanical condition (loose safety function). The metal finish is a nice rust blue patina that shows a few freckles and some wear, with traces of straw on the trigger and safety. Grips are black checkered phenolic. Includes mismatched original nickel plated magazine with ribbed floorplate and rectangular follower depress button. This pistol is earlier manufactured with the slide contoured to meet the frame extension. It has a Showa manufacture date of 12.6 (1937 June), has Nagoya arsenal, and Nambu factory symbols in that order just forward of the Showa date. This collectible pistol has serial number 22XX, C&R eligible, and is in overall very good condition. Used.
