Japan Nambu Type 14 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 8x22 Nambu (Pistol). This early Chigusa factory of Nagoya Arsenal manufactured pistol has a small trigger guard with a very good bore and mechanical condition, with matching numbers on the frame and polished bolt. Has a nice rust blue metal finish that has a few freckles, some patina on the grip straps, and a straw finished trigger, sear bar, safety, and magazine release. Has crisp lacquered 26 serration mahogany grips and an early nickel-plated magazine with a 9-groove alloy bottom that has no provision for a follower release spring. This pistol has a Showa date 4.9 (1929 September) serial number 476X, C&R eligible, and is in overall very good condition. Used.
