Italian Carcano 1891 Cavalry bolt action carbine chambered in 6.5 Carcano Caliber (6.5x52mm, not 6.5x52R). This Cavalry carbine has a under-folding bayonet, and a 17.7" barrel. The blued metal finish and a hardwood stock will show service wear and may have some patina, and the bore will be dark, a bit rough, but shootable. PW Arms import. Overall Good to Very Good condition, C&R eligible, used.

I received a 1936 Gardone VT M.91, with a round receiver in good condition overall. The bore has good rifling and cleaned up well. The stock is in fair condition, but no major flaws. Little rust or pitting on the exposed metal parts, but some below the wood line, mostly on the magazine assembly, with the worst on the inside of the butt plate. J&G shipped the rifle quickly, double boxed and well packaged. I’m satisfied with my purchase and would readily do business with them again.

As described with a coating of cosmoline. No rust visible on this example. Only downside is the stock has been sanded. Bore looks like it will clean up nicely.

ON RECIEVING TO RIFLE, I FOUND I COULDN'T GET HE BAYONET TO COME DOWN. AFTER MUCH PULLING ON THE RELEASE I GOT IT MOVED. I DO GUNSMITHING AND HAD CLEANED A BLUED EVERY THING ON THE RIFLE. I TRIED TO UNSCREW THE BAYONET RELEASE BOLT. I HAD A HARD TIME GETTING IT OUT TO FIND OUT THE CUPPED NUT THAT YOU SCREWED THE BOLT INTO WAS BENT UP. I'M TRYING TO FIND THE BOLT AND CUP TYPE NUT<, BUT SO FAR NO LUCK. AS I PAID $20.00 FOR A HAND PICK IT IS MY STRONG SUGGESTION YOU CHECK THE BAYONET RELEASE BEFORE YOU SEND IT OUT.

Overall good shape, but screws very tight and screw slots / heads badly worn. Very difficult to disassemble..
