I had been debating this purchase for some time, many have sold before I decided to buy. Given that many vendors had these and sold them, I decided on J&G due to the poor hand select reputation of some other places. Order Hand Select.

The rifle I received was a 1936 Terni made. This one was rust free with 85%+ bluing and still had cosmoline within the reciever. Would purchase again if needed.

The fire arm is in decent condition for how old it is. My issue is that it is not disclosed that it doesn't come with any stripper clips. When I called to ask about it the lady who answered the phone told me there's a thing out there called Google. Look for the clips yourself.

Amazing rifle that is great shape. Just need some cleaning and it'll be good to go. How ever the one downside I'll say is that you gotta stripper clips for the rifle separately which sucks.

I paid a extra $20 for a best of selection and I think that paid off. My M.91 Cav. has good wood and little surface corrosion. Was NOT a heavy cosmoline coated firearm but did need to be dissembled and thoroughly gone through. Found substantial corrosion under the wood, in the trigger group under the rear site. Hoppes #9, a brass brush and some clp helped eliminate the rust. Stock was cleaned and given a coat of linseed oil. I ordered a pair of magazine clips for it and I think it will be a good shooter. With the internet info available today, you can find much about how to clean and care for this and all other Carcano's. Glad I bought this one.

A piece of Italian history! The bayonet is quite loose which requires some work, but otherwise a great piece.
