Ishapore Enfield #1 MKIII SMLE bolt action rifle chambered in 303 British - Drill Purpose non-firing rifle for display or parts. Original #1 MKIII Ishapore mfg surplus DP rifle featuring 25.5" barrel, 10rd removable magazine, black finish, graduated rear sight, and hardwood stock. Good condition with finish worn off in several areas, and may have spots of corrosion. Be aware, there are cracks and or repairs in the stock! Expect missing small parts, such as bands, rear upper handguard, etc. They have colored bands painted on them, and you can choose from menu above if you want to make sure your bands are fairly complete on your rifle (similar to those pictured.) Some also have mfg marks stamped on receiver ring, choose from menu above if you wish to specify a date range and ensure a mark. C&R eligible. Still a firearm and does require an FFL.

As a deactivated DP (Drill Purpose) rifle, these were intended for training. A hole has been drilled through both sides of the chamber and rod welded in. The firing pin has been shortened and bolt face filled. Most parts on the rifle have been stamped "DP". Attempting to fire or convert these to firing condition is NOT recommended. Maryland - Handguns made after 1984 must be approved by MD DOJ. No assault rifles. No assault pistols. No folding pistol grip shotguns.
Massachusetts - Handguns made after 1997 must be approved by MA DOJ. C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only. No assault rifles.
New Jersey - C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only, No assault rifles.
New York - C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only. No assault rifles. No assault pistols, or pistol version of rifles.
Oregon - All firearms must be sent to 01 FFL dealers only, not 03 C&R holders, including C&R firearms.
Washington - No assault weapons.
Washington DC - no firearms.
