I haven't had a chance to take this beauty to the range. However, some observations follow. To me, this looks and feels like a Hi-Power on steroids. I'm partial to steel pistols though I do own a couple plastic ones that are very nice. The slide is very easy to manipulate, and the mag release drops the mag effectively. Sight picture is good, and hand fitment is comfortable. Decocker works easily enough which brings the hammer to quarter cock which I suppose also acts as a safety preventing the hammer from contacting the firing pin accidently. It should also be noted that operation of the decocker beyond its normal travel will also bring the hammer back to quarter cock from a fully seated position. That takes fingers on both sides of the decocker and is quite heavy, I don't actually recommend that method. It is much easier to pull the hammer back with your thumb. However, as it seems there are two different types of rear sight, lowering the hammer to the firing pin with your thumb on this particular model will pinch your thumb due to the rear set protrusion of the sight. Single action trigger is a bit over 3 lbs. according to what I've read. It is very smooth with little take up and a crisp break. Reset is very short. Conversely, DA trigger pull is very heavy over 11 lbs. I believe. Older models had a more complicated trigger system; but I've read that it is possible to modify the weight because of the design, whereas that is not possible with the omega due to its simplicity. In any case, I'm not a competition shooter; so, it doesn't matter. My only complaint is less related to the DA pull and more to the actual construction of the trigger itself. It is rather narrow with marginally rounded edges. No matter where I place my finger the DA pull is rather uncomfortable. I believe with a proper trigger shoe that is heavily rounded and wider I will be able to alleviate the discomfort.

Best 9mm I have ever owned and fired. Superbly accurate. Everyone should have one of these in their safe.

I always wanted a CZ75B and the omega trigger with the decocker suits me. The transaction went seemlessly, with prompt shipping to my local FFL. J&G sales is always a pleasure to do business with, at the store or online.
