Argentine 1909 Mauser bolt action rifle in 7.65x53 (7.65 Argentine) caliber. GEW 1898 pattern German manufactured rifle by DWM stamped "Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabrik Berlin" and Mauser Modelo 1909 Argentino" on receiver. Features 29" barrel with very good bore, original "in the white" bright metal receiver with Argentinian Crest, traces of nitre blue finish on the tangent rear sight, long bolt latch, and springs and screws. Matching numbers on receiver, bolt, trigger guard, stock, and cleaning rod. Commercial pattern trigger guard with no guard screws and with magazine release on trigger guard bow. Original satin finish walnut stock with intact acceptance stamps. Receiver shows a few minor freckles and light wear, bluing shows some minor nicks and high edge wear, stock has some dents and dings from service, and cosmoline preservative is still present. Serial number E04xx, pre-WWI pattern, C&R eligible, overall Very Good condition.

Massachusetts - Handguns made after 1997 must be approved by MA DOJ. C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only. No assault rifles.
New Jersey - C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only, No assault rifles.
New York - C&R handguns are sent to 01 FFL dealers only. No assault rifles. No assault pistols, or pistol version of rifles.
Oregon - All firearms must be sent to 01 FFL dealers only, not 03 C&R holders, including C&R firearms.
Washington DC - no firearms.
