This thing is IMMACULATE! Bluing is nice and even. The grenade launcher site has been removed and the spigot machined into a flash hider. In fact, you can still see the rings on the flash hider. The flash hider is legal (I'm in California) because there is no detachable mag. The stock looks brand new, and all original serials and markings removed. The addition of a rubber but pad with cleaner access and the machining of the rear sight surface is a nice touch. Doesn't come with a cleaning rod and the trigger isn't anything to write home about. The barrel rifling looks good and shiny, I was told they may have been re-barreled. All in all, the rifle is way better than I expected, it's not for the purists, but it's a great addition for the collector or a great SKS for the first time owner who wants a clean SKS. Definitely a show and conversation piece and worth every penny!
Worth the money ,like new, not a scratch, was a little worried at first because the front site was drifted a bit to the right, took it to the range 30 meters and shot 1" or under groups some in same hole, hey its an sks it dosent get any better than that.
I am VERY pleased with my purchase, beautiful gun!! I wiped it down(came with what seemed like a little light oil for protection), cleaned the bore and off to the range. No hiccups- fired about 80 rounds through her, shoots like a dream with good grouping. Many comments from others at the range on how awesome it looked/condition.
These rifles are beautiful, they look like they did the day they were built, brought back to 100%. More than 100% with the grenade launcher and sight gone and a flash suppressor in it's place. This changes the entire look of the Yugo SKS.
J&G Sales was great and shipped my rifles very quickly. I give them and these rifles five stars!
This looks like the pitcher!!. Clean and nice. I did nothing to it. Took it to the range, straight out of the box. No cleaning or lubing. You say bad Idea :) Worked awesome!!! No fails. Put it away after 100 rounds (50 slow rounds and 50 as fast as I could pull the trigger). To do what your supposed to before you take it out for the first time. Get one!!! Way worth the money and not a project at all.
