Has many innovative features that distinguish it from a standard Kalashnikov, such as non-rotating bolt, short stroke gas piston, and different hammer system. Comes with one 30rd magazine. This firearm was assembled by Century Arms International using both new US made parts and original used surplus parts.May or may not include cleaning rod.

I do not give anything a ten, unless its a ferrari or a supermodel. Impulse purchase, low expectations. This is a nice interesting rifle. Pressed particleboard stock is actually much better in person than in photo, very durable. Rifle is a couple of pounds lighter than AK-47, jumps around more under fire, but much nicer carrying around shed hunting. Magazines are aluminum, with a follower for last round hold open. Comes with magazine, if you order extra, they are in addition to the one with the gun. I like the gun, much better value at the $500 price, but preferable to romanian grade AKs. Reliability perfect over first 120 rounds. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]

Great gun, fun to shoot. If you don't believe me, just take one to the range. Several people have offered to shoot a couple of rounds.(Like I need the help) It's always the center of attraction. Cycles good, recoils just like 7.62 should, lots lighter than other rifles this size. J & G, as always, comes thru with the merchandise and customer service.
