Disappointing waste of an excellent saiga. The rifle I received had an improper feed ramp. The tip of the bullet would hit the bottom of the barrel and not feed. Mag is really floppy. Pistol grip is further forward and closer to the trigger than normal. Gives a very akward trigger feel if you are used to traditional ak's. Overall not very impressed with the conversion. Would be a great rifle if it worked properly.

I got the 5.45 instead of the .223. Good fit. Works flawlessly with military surplus ammo except that it fails to feed the last round. I haven't had time to see if I can figure out why.

I gave this a three out of five, because, the gun was covered in dust, and carbon, and had a large amount of carbon for a few test fires, the barrel was dirty as Well, the stock has what looks like filing marks, and chemical burns on it, the muzzle is corroded.... For a new gun I would have given it a one star but i guess i was expecting a cosmoline covered, slick gun.. it's an AK, so I gave it three. First new AK

Very happy with this purchase. The rifle, magazines, and ammo was as advertised.
The service seemed friendly and the shipping was prompt. J&G will have my business again.

The magazines are a little rough being used, but completely functional. For anyone curious I received a steel Polish magazine and a Bulgarian polymer mag (circle 25).

The rifle shoots great, the second round was a misfeed which I attribute to break in, 240 rounds later not a single issue.

I didn't have any experience with the 5.45x39 round until now and I'm NOT disappointed, minimal kick, plenty of power and a lot of fun.

The butt-stock is U.S. made (CAI?) and seems fair, probably pick up a stock set later at some point to trick it out.

The bullet ramp is welded in, opposed to riveting or bolted in, not sure if that's bad or good, as long as it doesn't fail I'm okay with it.

Not regretting the purchase and I feel I have something special I can pass down to my kid.

looks well built as opposed to some other ak variants. Bullet ramp and modded safety are a definite plus! I would give it 5 stars however currently I have an injured shoulder and haven't been able to fire the weapon!
