Dog Leg top rail scope mounting system that accommodates Picatinny/Weaver rings. Aluminum construction with a matte black finish and features a flip up peep sight with a .070 inch aperture. Positioned at the rear of the firearm the peep sight extends your sight radius and helps to improve accuracy of the AK.

Mounted directly over the receiver, the Dog Leg scope rail provides optimal balance, generous rail length, and protects delicate optics from barrel heat. The ingeniously simple and rugged design provides a rock solid mount for accuracy while incorporating a flip-up rear peep sight and a quick release to preserve the AK’s field stripping qualities.

Will work on most standard AK systems with a standard buttstock (not pistols). Includes screws for use on wood or plastic buttstocks. Other styles of stocks such as folding stocks may require additional hardware for proper mounting which is not included. For use with the Polish Tantal, purchase a #10-32 tang screw. Will not work on Yugo AK Receivers, any underfolders, or AMD sidefolders.
