I LIKE THEM ALL.VERY HARD TO CHOOSE ONE. I WILL TAKE THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH 357. TOO BAD THE 22 MAG WAS NOT LISTED AS IT IS SURE TO BE A FAVORITE.

I enjoy the 22 mag for the constant fun and varmit shooting. But voted 357 because it does the job without going over budget on what I want to spend on ammo.

I chose .44 Magnum over .357 Magnum and .22 Magnum, but it was by a very slim margin. The larger Magnum cartridges do interest me, but the overly-large frames of these monster revolvers makes them awkward to handle and nearly comical in appearance. I'd rather carry a light rifle chambered in an intermediate cartridge to one of those 56+ ounce hand cannons. A slung light rifle is much easier for me to carry than one of those things - no matter what kind of holster is used. I would like to see a manufacturer produce a similar copy of the Mossberg Shockwave that was chambered in a variety of these larger Magnum revolver cartridges - it would carry more shells, better utilize a longer barrel, and likely weigh much less. There would also be a better place to hold the weapon with your off-hand. Maybe shrink up the receiver dimensions to that of a Colt Lightning rifle's action size to make the overall dimensions comparable to that of a Rossi Ranch Hand's size, weight and feel. The meteoric popularity of the Mossberg Shockwave is perfect evidence that I'm not the only one interested in such a firearm. Anyone else interested in such a thing?
