No, a pretty lean Christmas, but we have what we need and some of what we want - very blessed..

No, but I gave one. A nice high quality 22 target pistol.

Comment made by Jake on 2016-12-30 01:24:55
Yep, a few actually. Bought myself a VZ-24, Krag carbine, and a Winchester 94AE trapper in .44 Mag. Looking at a Winchester 1895 flat side for New Years.

No but trying to get a Ruger LC9S, a SR1911 CMD 9mm and maybe a G19. I did get a Ramlite magnetic laser sight combo for my Rock Island G.I. 1911 though which was a great gift.

No new Peashooter but did get some ammo.

Comment made by Philip on 2017-01-02 09:48:16
Yes I did, a gift from my beautiful wife. She knows what I like. So far she has given me four guns for birthdays or Christmas, she is a keeper.

Of coarse, FAL SA58 by DSA in Lake Barrington, IL:) Can't wait to put a scope on it (thinking Meopro 3.5-10x44) and take it out in the spring. Happy new year!

Not brand new, but new to me, an EAA Tanfoglio Witness Match Elite, like a 1911, in 45 auto, but the choice of pro shooters in the "stock" class. Hope to become a better pistol shot with it. Also gave a RIA 1911 and a Bersa Thunder 380 to grandson number one, and a Winchester single shot 22 to the 6 year old one. It's always a Merry Christmas when we count the blessings of all our family still alive and reasonably healthy.

Yes, new to me, but not brand new. It was an 1867 Austrian Werndl.

I got my first 1911. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet, but I have 250 rounds of 230 grain fmj waiting. The weather here in MI is a little rough right now. Soon, I hope to get out and give it a go.

Last new one came from here when I did a walk in for the AKM47 under folder with the milled receiver in the fall of 16. Nice AKM.

Not this year. I have laid low for a couple of years. Hopefully, the kids will reciprocate now that I am the one on a fixed income! (Fat Chance!)

Comment made by Anthony on 2017-01-10 07:57:47
No, I was gifted ammo this year for the rifle from last year

Ed Brown Commander 9MM Bobtail Black finish. $3595. Wow was this a great Christmas or what. Also snagged a case of 45's and case of 9MM . My Brown broke in without a hiccup. Looking for a Wilson Combat this coming Christmas .

Comment made by William on 2017-01-15 09:21:39
Nothing for Christmas in that regards but I did pick up a DDI milled AK47 underfolder one month prior.

I've never been gifted a gun and probably never will. Of course it doesn't help I'm surrounded by filthy hippies either

Comment made by Chad on 2017-01-15 18:31:47
Chin up Connor, I too am surrounded by thoughtless chuckle-headed hippies - but I won't give up on them..! No, I have never been gifted a firearm either, but that's not really the spirit of the Holiday. I plan to wear them down eventually - not one of them has any measurable persistence.. If it don't come easily, they generally don't even bother. If I can prove my point by living my life the way I do, their "peer groups" will move on and change on their own.. If I don't convince them by my actions, I should still win by default.. Hooray 2nd. Amendment..!
