This is a Parker Trojan side by side 12 gauge double barrel shotgun with a 30 inch solid rib barrel that features a mark reading "Parker Bros Makers Meriden, Conn Trojan Steel." Features double triggers, a 14 1/8 inch length of pull, extractors, a #2 frame size, a receiver with well timed screws that have traces of case color in protected areas, 70-80% blue on barrels, a solid tight action, and lightly varnished original checkered walnut furniture. There are a few small cracks in the left side of the buttstock. This gun is a perfect candidate for a restoration project.
The water table is marked with "OV" read inside the shield. Has a Parker Bros reg US patoff and patent dates. The left barrel flat is marked with a circled "J.G.," and the right barrel flat is marked with an "HT" over "A" and the number "4." Manufactured Circa 1917, SN: 117XXX. C&R eligible. This shotgun is in very good condition, used.
