Colt 1901 Army revolver chambered in .38 Colt. This original U.S. Army issue revolver has model 1901 marked on the butt and Colt D.A. 38 on the 6" barrel, with a last patent date of Mar 5, '95. Features a very good bore and mechanical condition, double cylinder notches, double locking bolts, square cylinder latch, and cleaned military issue smooth walnut grips. There are "R.A.C." (Rinaldo A Carr) inspector's marks on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. Has thinning original blued metal that shows some holster wear, scratches, and patina. Also has traces of Nitre blue on the trigger and a bright/patina hammer. The revolver has matching numbers on the frame, yoke, and cylinder latch. Serial number of 127XXX, C&R eligible, overall good to very good condition, used.
