Original Chinese 56 SKS rifles, military surplus specification with chrome lined bore, barrel threaded into receiver, milled parts, and folding blade bayonet. These early rifles were used and show wear from active military service, with little metal bluing finish, and rough wood stocks. Do not expect a cleaning rod. Overall Fair to Good condition, functioning shootable rifles, may have spots of corrosion, heavily preserved in cosmoline. C&R eligible. Serial numbers do not usually match. Most marked with factory 26 in a triangle.

Thank you J&G sales for selling me this gun! It is as described, a smooth running SKS that has been there and done that. The stock is %100 percent intact save for some gouges and some Cyrillic graffiti which adds to coolness of this rifle, blueing is worn but honestly it doesn't look bad at all. The gun shoots great, groups well and runs smoothly. I was surprised to find the gun was numbers matching, and included a cleaning rod and kit. Be warned J&G isn't kidding when they say heavily coated in cosmoline, the first patch I ran down the bore produced a 6 inch cosmoline snake from the other end, there is no shooting the cosmoline off, it must be thoroughly cleaned first thing in order to be shootable at all. I bought it with the intent to refinish it, but now I wouldn't change a thing about this great little rifle that oozes personality, just like the cosmoline, when you shoot it.
All matching numbers with very cool trench art on the stock. Very pleased with the cosmetics of the rifle. As far as function? I ran 100 rounds through her and she ran flawlessly. 50m, 100m & 200m were deadly accurate. 300 was not quite as consistent, but that could easily be user error. Lol. Very nice rifle and from what I see at shows a very good price. Love mine and would be happy to have another one.
Love it!! Yes you need to completely field strip the weapon to clean it and a giant cat turd of cosmoline will come out of the barrel and gas piston tube, but after that it works great!! Very good shooter and smooth operation. I do plan on converting it to a Bullpup, but very happy with the SKS platform.
I received the rifle just as described on the website, in a plastic bag and well preserved in cosmoline. I cleaned the rifle up after several hours and the results were well worth the effort, significant bluing wear, stock has definitely seen action, came with cleaning rod, cleaning kit, and oil bottles, all matching numbers, except for the top cover. I am glad I picked one of these pieces of history up, an overall excellent experience from ordering, to picking up at local FFL, I highly recommend.
I was overly satisfied by thIs purchase! I was a little concerned about having to find a cleaning rod, but luckily one was included... Almost missed the oil can and the cleaning kit completely so definitely got more than i was expecting.
Stock is a bit more worn than i was expecting but everything is purely cosmetic. Have already recommended this to many friends
