Matching Numbers:

Original Chinese 56 SKS rifles, military surplus specification with chrome lined bore, threaded barrel, milled parts, and folding blade bayonet. These early rifles were used and show wear from active military service, with little metal bluing finish, and rough wood stocks. Do not expect a cleaning rod. Overall Fair to good condition, functioning shootable rifles. Per the importer these are C&R eligible, most marked with factory 26 in a triangle.

Choose from menu above if you want Hand Select for matching serial numbers on the major metal components such as receiver, bolt, trigger guard, and magazine.

ATTENTION: Firearms ONLY ship to an FFL holder (or C&R if eligible). If you do not have an FFL (Federal Firearms License) then you must find one in your area to do the transfer for you, and you must enter their address as the shipping address on your order.

This weapon was very accurately described. It definitely saw plenty of use before it was retired. VERY solid shooter. Have run about 300 rounds through it in the few weeks I've had it and zero hiccups. Nice piece of history that saw action. Highly recommend.

Great little rifle. I didn't pay for a choice select or numbers matching. Came numbers matching. Stock had wear and character. Not cracked. After cleaning all the cosmoline it fired and functioned flawlessly. Not the most accurate thing in the world but it goes bang. I was holding 5" groups @ 100 yds.

At first I felt this was too much money for a beat up SKS. But I really wanted an older Chinese model that had seen service in the Chinese Forces. I asked if they could please add a cleaning rod as they said do not expect one. What I got was a useable piece of history with a cleaning rod that I was looking for. All serial numbers matched with the exception of the gas tube etched serial number. Other than bluing being rubbed off from use, the weapon is in very good condition. The stock was dinged up from use but to me that adds to the authenticity of being a piece used in the line units. Not a made for export model. I traced the serial numbers and Factory marking and it was the second production series after the Russians got them started, a 1957 model. Thank you J&G once again!

Rifle was ordered with matching numbers, stock was beat up and dryed flaky laminated coming off. Just took apart receiver and barrel which was in good shape not dried out parts moved good. Just some nice gun oil here and there. Sanded down stock relaminated it...love it now...wish i bought it 2yrs ago would of saved some $$$

Description was as advertised and it was packed securely. Buying a rifle without seeing it is always a challenge, but I feel J&G did an honest and fair appraisal of its condition. I will purchase again.
