Original Chinese 56 SKS rifles, military surplus specification with chrome lined bore, barrel threaded into receiver, milled parts, and folding blade bayonet. These early rifles were used and show wear from active military service, with little metal bluing finish, and rough wood stocks. Do not expect a cleaning rod. Overall Fair to Good condition, functioning shootable rifles, may have spots of corrosion, heavily preserved in cosmoline. C&R eligible. Serial numbers do not usually match. Most marked with factory 26 in a triangle.

For the money I really can not complain about the rifles I received. Everywhere else locally is see SKS rifles for $400 for more. That always kept me from buying them. Although mine were well used, the bluing was better than I expected and there were no cracks in the stock. The stocks do look like hell, but what do you expect from a military rifle. I do wish that JGSales provided an extra fee service for cosmoline removal, but I guess that really doesn't matter. I would buy one of these rifles again at this price point. I would say that I am very satisfied with my purchase.
SKS shipped very fast to ffl no issues. Rifle was in good condition, didn't pay to pick. Stock had some scarring but that is expected. No rust all parts of the rifle function, no issues with breakdown or reassembly. Very happy with my purchase with J&G.
