SKS was in excellent shape, all matching numbers, bluing was in great shape, stock was good but showed some battle scars. Bore was clean and rifling great. Came with bayonet, cleaning rod and cleaning kit. Fast delivery!! No hesitation to buy here again!! Thanks J&G
The rifle was just as described. It has battle scars and bluing wear, which is exactly what I wanted. I wasn't looking for a new looking rifle but one that has experience military use. Bore was bright and shining with strong rifling. All numbers were matching. I will buy another.
Chinese SKS : Recently purchased one of the SKS rifles that you have in stock . The description says Good to Fair and don't expect a cleaning rod , or any blue left on the gun . So I just opted for the " send me what ya got " option and planned for a total overhaul . I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at what arrived . Not only was there a cleaning rod , cleaning kit and oil can but the blue is about 60% , It is an very early all matching number example , bore is clean and pit free . The stock is somewhat scraped up , but that adds character . It definitely has a history , if only it could talk .
This is the second SKS that I've ordered from J&G. My first one was beautiful and this second one was no exception. This one is more worn than my first one but I love it just as much. If you're contemplating buying an SKS from J&G, stop wondering and just do it. It will be coated in cosmoline and will need some quality time to clean it up but I highly recommend it. SKS's are getting harder to find on non auction sites. 5/5 stars!
