Original Chinese 56 SKS rifles, military surplus specification with chrome lined bore, barrel threaded into receiver, milled parts, and folding blade bayonet. These early rifles were used and show wear from active military service, with little metal bluing finish, and rough wood stocks. Do not expect a cleaning rod. Overall Fair to Good condition, functioning shootable rifles, may have spots of corrosion, heavily preserved in cosmoline. C&R eligible. Serial numbers do not usually match. Most marked with factory 26 in a triangle.

The rifle was in very good condition. Metal was in good shape. No bluing left on it at all, but no major dings or scratches. Stock was in good shape. Nothing really wrong with it. Plan to replace it anyway, so no problem. An excellent rifle for the money.
Other reviews (to include DocTacDad's and TLBS's videos) suggested there might be problems with the rifles, but mine was in great shape. Bluing in generally pretty good, though there was a bit of rust on the barrel. The stock had no cracks, and while it was pretty heavily soaked in cosmoline, the wood was still in great shape. I'm still in the middle of refinishing the stock, so I haven't taken it to the range, but I'm sure it runs just fine. Just to note, my rifle did come with a cleaning rod.
